I'm at work a ton and take a lot of pride in the things I do there. Last year was my first year as an LMITS (Library Media and Instructional Technology Specialist). It's an extremely busy job. Last year I decided to remodel the library.. what an undertaking. I also create and maintain our school's website. I love doing it.  Check it out if you get a chance.

New neighbors

I have some new neighbors that just moved in a couple months ago. They're a cute couple from Colorado. Last night they invited me up for dinner and I took some funeral potatoes up to share. They weren't sure what to think about the name and asked for an explanation. We had a wonderful dinner then he brought out his guitar and played a bunch of songs. He was awesome! They invited me to come back and 'jam' with them again. It was lots of fun!

Jazz in the Playoffs

I was so excited to go to one of the Jazz first round playoff games. It was tons of fun! We definitely have the loudest arena in the NBA. The atmosphere was electric. It was a great game!

Getting the first 18-holes of the year.

Today I went to the IT ending meeting/social. We went up the canyon after the meeting and had a barbecue. After it was done I decided to go golfing at Mountain Dell golf course and got paired up with three high school guys.  They made it pretty fun. I walked the front nine and thought I was going to die. I didn't pick the best course to walk for the fi
rst time with my golf bag cart.  I rode the back nine. I even got a birdie on one of the par 4's. It was a chip from about 25 yards out!!! Here's a couple of pictures I took while I was at the social. We were having a photo taking contest.

The end is in sight!

The school year is finally in sight! We have four days next week and we'll be done for the summer.. at least for the kids and other teachers. With my contract, I work an extra week after schools ends and three weeks before everyone else gets back. I'm also finishing up my master's degree! I'll be finished with classes at the end of June. It's been a busy and sometimes very frustrating two years.

I have a packed summer planned. The second and third week after school I'll be going to Logan for two of my last master's classes. I'll come home on the weekend since I've booked a wedding to shoot! I'm going to have PRK surgery on the 20th of June; similar to LASIK. I can't wait to ditch the glasses! I should be seeing 20/40 right after the surgery and it should improve over the next 3 weeks to couple of months. A big improvement over my current 20/400 vision!! I'll be going to Vegas for a few days with Lisa and the girls in July (crazy, I know, it'll be sooo hot!), head off for Michigan to visit Wendy, then out to Jason's. I only have a couple of days in between to come home and get my laundry done before I take off for the next place. I'm so excited for all three trips. Lisa, the girls and I haven't ever been on any trips together, at least not just the four of us. Wendy and I will be doing our yearly lighthouse hunting. This time we'll be going to the upper pennisula. There are tons of lighthouses and some pretty good waterfalls too. I'll get to play golf with her in a tournament too which is always fun. I can't wait to get to Jason's too.  I haven't seen the kids in such a long time. I'm excited to see how much they've grown. It's also time for Evelyn's 3 year-old pictures. I'm looking forward to getting some time to get Megan, Alexis, and Evelyn's pictures drawn too. It's just been so busy.
